Southwest International understands that the comfort and safety of your drivers is your primary focus, alongside satisfied customers. Because of that, we bring to you the International MV Series, ready to exceed your expectations and make work anything but.

The International MV Series is designed to endure, engineered to perform, and built for your daily grind. With excellent visibility, Driver-First philosophy, Diamond Logic electrical system, and Cummins power, this vehicle is ready to withstand whatever your business needs while outperforming the competition.

CAB

The innovative cab design of the International MV Series helps set it apart from our competition. Built with high-strength steel, this cab delivers superior corrosion resistance and a world-class fit and finish. A single piece of steel surrounds the entire door opening, giving superior strength to the cab.

The all-new International DriverFirst philosophy has been carried into the interior of the MV, improving the ergonomics of the cab with better elbow, leg, and hip room for you and your drivers. The depth of the cab exceeds the Hino 268A by 1.5”, giving your drivers more room and comfort than ever. The MV Series tilt steering column has a range of 23”, more than both the Ford F-750 and the Hino 268A. Southwest International understands that the safety and comfort of your drivers is your sole focus, so the stalk shifter is mounted on the steering column, allowing drivers to easily reach and operate the shifter and engine brake while comfortably keeping their eyes on the road. Up to 30 customizable factory-installed switches with custom labels are available and optimally positioned for easy reach and control for the driver. International has increased the size of the offset step, improving entry and exit of the vehicle.

CHASSIS

The three-piece hood design reduces repair costs compared to the single-piece hood design of the Ford F-750, Hino 268A, and Freightliner M2 106. Not only does this design reduce costs for your business, but it makes your vehicle significantly easier to service for our technicians. The hood can be raised with less than 12 lbs. of effort, a class-leading advantage for easy access to service points throughout the vehicle. The MV Series also comes with an optional cab air ride suspension that is not found on the Ford F-750 or the Hino 268A.

The wide, panoramic windshield and sloped hood of the MV allow clear visibility for drivers.

Straight ahead visibility of the International MV is better than the Ford F-750 by seven feet, giving your drivers seven more feet of safety and range of vision. International has added enhanced door-mounted mirrors positioned to allow drivers more visibility with less neck strain.

The MV Series offers frame reinforcements not available on the Hino 268A, allowing endless possibilities of body options to fit your business and your needs. The MV is also available with tandem rear axles, allowing up to 40,000 lbs. for heavier applications, something that Ford and Hino cannot say.  With a 211” wheelbase, the MV provides turn angles at least 50 degrees for both wheels, resulting in a turning radius just over 27.8’ - better than all competitors.

This vehicle comes with an in-cab electrical panel that is easily accessed without tools, allowing for much easier serviceability. The panel has been designed as a flat space to double as a workspace when needed and has extra protection against spills. International offers optional circuit breakers not available from competitors.

DRIVE

The International MV comes with the Cummins guarantee, available with Cummins B6.7 or L9 engines, giving you the lowest cost of operation and maximum uptime. The MV is available as manual, automated, and automatic through Eaton Fuller and Allison, giving you options that best fit your application.
