Diamond Edge

Diamond Edge is a certified program designed to recognize dealerships for their hard work and emphasize their efforts. With the help of the dealer network and Navistar corporate, the dealerships have been able to increase consistency throughout the network while also setting incredibly high standards for each facility and receiving the recognition deserved. The program recognizes the highest performing service departments in the network and awards them the Diamond Edge distinction for their hard work. To achieve this certification, the dealership must abide by these rigorous measures: 

  • Meet or exceed service dwell time metrics and design long-term action plans for continuous service dwell time improvement at the dealership location

  • Provide dedicated Accelerated Service lanes where customers receive immediate vehicle evaluation by a technician and are informed of required repair, parts, and availability and estimated repair time within two hours of vehicle’s arrival

  • Enroll new truck order onto the OnCommand Connection remote diagnostics system and designate an OnCommand Connection service champion at each service location. Southwest International relies on Britney McNeely for all of our OnCommand Connection needs. 

  • Participate in the dealership inventory alliance part inventory program to ensure common parts are readily available in dealer inventory

Through this initiative, dealerships across the country have been able to improve uptime for their customers each day and increase consistency between the dealer network and Navistar. Southwest International has been a Diamond Edge certified dealer since the initial implementation of the program and has prided itself on the service we provide our customers. 


Accelerated Service

Southwest International understands that in your business, time matters, so we are an Accelerated Service Dealership, emphasizing communication, speed, and accuracy when repairing and servicing your vehicles. Within two hours of arrival at our dealership, a specially trained Express Diagnostics technician will evaluate the vehicle, determine what repairs and maintenance are necessary, and communicate that with the customer. If parts are needed based on the technician’s Express Diagnostics findings, those parts are expedited to arrive as soon as possible if we do not have them on hand. From there, communications on what servicing and parts are required for the maintenance with a time estimate within the two-hour window are relayed to the customer. Repair status updates are given to keep you informed on the progress of the vehicles. A post-service survey is encouraged to review our Accelerated Servicing and ensure that our promise of speedy and accurate service is met every time.
