Southwest International is excited to welcome the newly redesigned International MV Series, available for ordering beginning June 15, 2021. 

The new International MV Series is designed for vocational applications where uptime and productivity are essential.  The new MV Series includes several updates to deliver styling and packing improvements. 

Safety & Styling

The redesigned hood significantly improves driver visibility. The restyled bumpers and grilles with optional bug screen, standard Halogen headlights (LED optional), C-Loop and Hood Mounted mirrors are only a few of the major changes to the front-end design. Navistar has also significantly improved the maneuverability of the MV Series and offers optional safety enhancements such as collision mitigation and collision warning systems.

Capability & Integration

Driver-focused the newly redesigned MV Series offers improved maneuverability, improved visibility, a partially open hood, and an underhood work light.  An integrated front frame and 14.7K axle and suspension choices enable snowplow applications to be utilized.  The new high-efficiency cooling package eliminates the need for mega-brackets. Navistar has simplified packaging of air dryers, FWS, battery boxes, fuel tanks, DEF, and air tanks, building upon our mission for the most efficient truck possible. 

Uptime

Continuing our mission toward efficiency, Navistar has significantly improved maintenance schedules and serviceability. Aero break-away hood mirrors and LED lighting are offered along with enhanced corrosion protection.  Connected vehicle solutions are an offered, Intelligent Fleet Care, OnCommand Connection, and International 360 are available to help streamline efficiency, monitor health status, and efficiently manage service and repairs.

International’s Diamond Logic advanced electrical system is still present in the new design, including pre-trip light inspection, an alarm that sounds when the door opens while the truck is in motion, external regen warning, switches and functions interlocked to vehicle speed, low/hot hydraulic oil PTO shutdown, outrigger stowed interlock, and easier body integration, improved quality, and higher uptime.
